About the destination
The 4* Melia Sevilla Hotel in Seville is located in the commercial district and opposite the Parque de Maria Luisa and Plaza Espana. With lots of bars and restaurants nearby, the local tradition is to visit the Spanish tapas bars in the evenings and bar hop amongst them trying out their specialities. Seville is the 4th largest city in Spain where you can be sure of finding enjoyable nightlife, especially in the nearby areas of Calle Betis or Alfalfa.
The hotel has 365 bright and spacious rooms with options for single, twin / double, family, and suites. There are also The Level rooms Premium & Gran Premium which have upgraded rooms and access to The Level Lounge with open bar, daily cocktails and private buffet. All rooms are outward facing with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, LCD TV with satellite channels, minibar, safe deposit box and a workspace.
There are three restaurants in the hotel, Mosaico which serves local & international cuisine and has a lovely terrace, Quimera restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine on the first floor and Quimera poolside restaurant & snack bar which has live music on Thursdays and Saturdays. Elyxr cocktail lounge is a great place to relax in the evenings.

The Golf Course - Melia Sevilla Hotel Golf Break
Real Club Sevilla Golf is a true gem that is very accessible to play considering it is consistently ranked inside the top 10 golf course for all of Spain. A design by Jose Maria Olazábal which opened for play in 1991 and has since gone on to host many prestigious events such as; the World Golf Championship in 2004, Andalucia Open in 2009 and Spanish Open in 2008, 2010 & 2012. The course has wide fairways, undulating greens, 10,000 trees across 61 hectares with 90 bunkers and 9 lakes. Accuracy is more important than length here, as a good short game will serve you better than a long drive. An 18 hole, par 72 parkland course that measures 7,140 yards from the black tees.
Real Club Pineda de Sevilla was the first course to be built in the area and remained the only course for a long time until Real Club Sevilla Golf was built in 1992. Pineda opened for play in 1939 as a 9 hole course that was designed by Rodrigo and Felipe Benjumea. The course was then expanded to a full 18 holes in 1992 which was designed by Jose Luis Bastarreche. The fairways are wide and separated by palm & pine trees whilst leading up to greens that are small and defended by well positioned hazards. An 18 hole, par 72 parkland course that is relatively flat and measures 6,730 yards from the black tees. A true country club with many other sports facilities on site.
