Lisbon Sports Club is one of the oldest golf courses in Portugal, though it was originally a 9 hole course that was expanded in to an 18 hole course in 1992. The 18 hole, par 69 parkland course was designed by Hawtree & Sons and although a relatively short course it is well designed to make full use of the contours of the land to provide natural obstacles to test your abilities.
Prai D’El Rey at Obidos
The Praia D’el Rey golf course is one of the best in Portugal. Split into two sections, with the front nine playing as a woodland course with lots of pine trees whilst the back 9 plays much more like a typical links course that runs alongside the Atlantic ocean.
Designed by Cabell Robinson in 1997 it measures just over 7.000 meters from the black championship tees.
