BOOKING CONDITIONS

PROVISION OF YOUR HOLIDAY

We will arrange for the provision of all parts of the inclusive holiday as confirmed to you. There is no holiday booked until you have received a confirmation invoice. An invoice will normally only be sent after a deposit is received. This invoice acts as our confirmation of the booking conditions and your holiday is secured. All holidays are subject to availability.

FINANCIAL PROTECTION

Golf Tours International is a company committed to customer satisfaction and consumer financial protection which is provided by Protected Trust Services - Affiliation Number 5393. All consumers can check PTS membership pre-booking. Simply contact PTS directly for peace of mind. If a consumer has any concerns about the allocation of their monies and the holiday supplied by a PTS member they can contact PTS directly. PTS is FCA registered to ensure trust and confidence when booking with any PTS member. We are therefore pleased to announce that, at no extra cost to you, and in accordance with ''The Package Travel, Package Tours Regulations'' all passengers booking with Golf Tours International are fully protected for the initial deposit, and subsequently the balance of monies paid as detailed in your booking confirmation form. Your money is fully protected and paid into an independent Trust Account, managed by Protected Trust Services Ltd of 307-315 Holdenhurst Rd, Boscombe, Bournemouth BH8 8BX and its Trustees, chartered accountants - Elman Wall Ltd of 8th Floor, Becket House, 36 Old Jewry, London EC2R 8DD.

ATOL PROTECTION

All the flights and flight-inclusive holidays on this website are financially protected by the ATOL scheme. When you pay you will be supplied with an ATOL Certificate. Please ask for it and check to ensure that everything you booked (flights, hotels and other services) is listed on it. Please see our booking conditions for further information or for more information about financial protection and the ATOL Certificate go to: www.caa.co.uk.

Flight packages: We provide full financial protection for our flight packages, by way of our Air Travel Organiser’s Licence number 11592, issued by the Civil Aviation Authority, Gatwick Airport South, West Sussex, RH6 0YR, UK, telephone 0333 103 6350, email claims@caa.co.uk. When you buy an ATOL protected flight inclusive package from us you will receive an ATOL Certificate. This lists what is financially protected, where you can get information on what this means for you and who to contact if things go wrong.

We, or the suppliers identified on your ATOL Certificate, will provide you with the services listed on your ATOL Certificate (or a suitable alternative). In some cases, where neither we nor the suppliers are able to do so for reasons of insolvency, an alternative ATOL holder may provide you with the services you have bought or a suitable alternative (at no extra cost to you). You agree to accept that in those circumstances the alternative ATOL holder will perform those obligations and you agree to pay any money outstanding to be paid to you under your contract to that alternative ATOL holder. However, you also agree that in some cases it will not be possible to appoint an alternative ATOL holder, in which case you will be entitled to make a claim under the ATOL scheme (or your credit card issuer where applicable).

If we, or the suppliers identified on your ATOL certificate, are unable to provide the services listed (or a suitable alternative, through an alternative ATOL holder or otherwise) for reasons of insolvency, the Trustees of the Air Travel Trust may make a payment to (or confer a benefit on) you under the ATOL scheme. You agree that in return for such a payment or benefit you assign absolutely to those Trustees any claims which you have or may have arising out of or relating to the non-provision of the services, including any claim against us, the travel agent (or your credit card issuer where applicable). You also agree that any such claims may be re-assigned to another body, if that other body has paid sums you claimed under the ATOL scheme.

Golf Tours International Ltd will be acting as an agent for the airline company when booking your flights. Golf Tours International Ltd is not the supplier of the flights and is not responsible for any changes made to your booking by the airline company. If the airline company does make a change to your booking we will notify you as soon as we are informed, giving you any and all options available.

INSURANCE

Please arrange travel insurance. We recommend JUST TRAVEL COVER (includes green fees) – call 0800 294 2972 and mention Golf Tours International, or click this link to complete a form.

YOUR COMMITMENT TO US

The full amount of the holiday must be paid by the due date on the invoice. Failure to do so may result in the holiday being cancelled and cancellation charges outlined below would be effective as per the booking conditions.

DEPOSIT

We require a non-refundable deposit of £50 per person at the time of booking; unless otherwise advised. Your remaining balance will be due ten weeks prior to your departure date unless otherwise advised. If you make your booking with less than ten weeks to your departure date then the full balance will be due at the time of booking.

REFUNDS

In the event that a refund is required from your booking then you will be refunded the excess subject to deduction of a handling charge of £5 per person. This is necessary due to the processing charges incurred.

CHANGING YOUR HOLIDAY

If you wish to make changes to your holiday we will try to accommodate this without any charge. However there may sometimes be additional costs if the numbers in your group change, or a change of hotel or golf course. After changes have been made a new invoice will be issued.

CANCELLING YOUR HOLIDAY

If you need to cancel your holiday you must notify Golf Tours International in writing. The cancellation date will be the date on which we receive written notification. The following cancellation charges will apply.

More than 60 days to departure, loss of deposit

59 days or less to departure 100% of total cost

COMPLAINTS

If you encounter a problem with an aspect of your holiday you must notify the provider (hotel, hire car company, golf course etc) immediately to enable them to rectify the problem. If you are unable to obtain satisfaction you must notify Golf Tours International. If in spite of our best efforts we were unable to resolve the problem you must notify us in writing within 28 days of your return.

 

OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU

 

CHANGES TO YOUR HOLIDAY

If we make a significant change to your holiday (change of hotel or golf course due to availability) you will be notified as soon as we are aware.

Minor changes such as tee times, twin instead of double room etc, must be considered in the context of the overall holiday and the number of different suppliers upon whom Golf Tours International is dependent on in order to provide a golfing holiday.

IF WE CANCEL YOUR HOLIDAY

There will be a 100% refund of all monies paid if Golf Tours International cancels your holiday more than 42 days before departure. If the cancellation takes place within 42 days of departure, Golf Tours International Ltd will undertake to provide an acceptable alternative.

OUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR HOLIDAY

Golf Tours International will endeavour to provide the holiday as booked. Should our agents, suppliers, or we fail to provide the promised service then we accept overall responsibility provided that the complaint procedure above is followed.

PRICE CHANGES

We reserve the right to alter the prices of your holiday should it become necessary to do so. You will be advised of the current price of the package that you wish to book when making the booking. Once a confirmation has been issued the price shown on that invoice may only vary where there are changes in exchange rates or Government action. We will only absorb a 5% change, you will be required to meet any increase between 5% and 10%. If we have to increase the price of the holiday by more than 10%, you would have the option of cancelling with a refund, or continuing with the holiday arrangements and meeting the extra costs (above 5%). If you decide to cancel the holiday, you must do so within seven working days of the issue of the revised booking invoice.

FORCE MAJEURE

In these booking conditions ‘Force Majeure’ means that we will not be liable or pay you compensation if any obligations to you are affected by any event which we or the supplier(s) of the service(s) in question could not, even with all due care, foresee or avoid. These events can include, but are not limited to war, threat of war, civil strife, terrorist activity and its consequences or the threat of such activity, riot, the act of any government or other national or local authority including port or river authorities, industrial dispute, lock closure, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, chemical or biological disaster and adverse weather, sea, ice and river conditions and all similar events outside the supplier(s) concerned’s control.

 

OTHER IMPORTANT INFORMATION

 

DELAYS

Golf Tours International Ltd cannot accept responsibility for delays and associated costs of delay by an airline or ferry company.

ACCOMMODATION

While we endeavour to provide the very best for our clients, we cannot be held responsible for a poor view, twin beds instead of a double, unless such request has been made at the time of booking and made clear that it is a condition of booking. Please also bear in mind sports facilities offered by hotels may not always be available due to previous bookings or maintenance.

CAR HIRE

All car hire provided is on condition that the driver is over 24 years old, has a clean, internationally recognised driving licence and agrees to return the car to the agreed drop-off point. Petrol costs are not included.

GOLF ARRANGEMENTS

We do not invoice a holiday until your tee times have been reserved to your satisfaction. These will be confirmed on the Itinerary. Should tee times and courses change we will endeavour to ensure your satisfaction but it must be understood that in some cases courses could be closed at short notice.
