Golf Tours International Ltd is a tour operator committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This policy explains when and why we collect personal information from you when you use this site, how that data will be used, the conditions under which it may be disclosed to others and how it is kept secure.

The personal information which is collected from our website www.golftoursinternational.co.uk when requesting a quotation is purely used by Golf Tours International in order to handle your request.

When we confirm your booking we make sure you are aware of all the companies involved in delivering the services you have requested, and we pass on to them only the details that they need so that they can deliver those services. All personal information you give to us is provided entirely voluntarily: this information is about you and given to us by entering information via our site or by corresponding with us by phone, email or otherwise. The information you give us may include your name, address, email address, phone number. It can also include your date of birth and API (advance passenger information) which are then passed onto suppliers in order to complete a booking. API information is compulsory on most flights and you will not be permitted to board your flight without this information. We never give our suppliers contact details for you unless it is absolutely necessary to provide the services you have requested (such as your phone number to coach companies who may need to contact you if their driver is running late), and even in this case our contract with them does not allow those details to be used for marketing purposes.

When you book with us we will ask you to make sure that other members of your party are happy for us to process their details in the same way as your own. We rely on the ‘contract’ legal basis for all of the processing we perform in order to provide the services you have booked with us. Contract legal basis means processing your data where it is necessary for the performance of a contract to which you are a party or to take steps at your request before entering into such a contract. When you email us, we keep a record of the email to help us with the administration of your booking and to resolve any complaints or disputes that might arise. We rely on our ‘legitimate interests’ for this processing.

Independently of this, we would like to ask you for a review both of our booking process and of your trip after you have travelled. For this processing we rely on our ‘legitimate interests’, but you can ask us at any time not to process your details for this reason.

If you are an existing customer or have made enquires with us, we may contact you by email with information about products and services which are similar to those we have previously provided to you, unless you have indicated that you do not want to hear from us. You may withdraw your consent for us to use your information by following the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email communications or by contacting us by phone or by post. If you have requested a quotation and indicated you wish to receive our newsletter, we will contact you with our latest news and special offers. You will be able to unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link down the bottom of the email. Your data will be stored into our marketing database, hosted by MailChimp, company also GPDR compliant.

Our website may contain links to other websites of interest. If you follow a link to any other websites of our partners, affiliates and other third parties, you should note that we do not have any control over that other website. Therefore, we cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement. We recommend that before submitting any personal data to these websites, you check the privacy statement applicable to the website in question.

We also keep details of your visits to this site (including, but not limited to, traffic data, website interaction and location data) and the resources that you access, your Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your device to the Internet, your login information, device type, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions and operating system and platform which is collected and used for our internal research and statistical purposes and to improve our customer service and website user experience. This is purely used for statistical purposes and other than the IP address, it does not identify any individual. We use tools such as Google Analytics (which includes Google Campaign Manager and Google Adwords) to measure traffic and make improvements to the customer journey on our website.

When you pay your holiday by card, you will need to call us to give us your card information. We will then enter your card details straight into our secure payment terminal. This information is then encrypted and not re-usable. None of it is stored.
