The Golf Courses - Gloria Verde Golf Breaks
Old course at Gloria Golf Club is a challenging layout having played host to more than 20 amateur and professional Championship Trophies. Most notable having hosted the Turkish Challenge on European Challenge Tour and the Turkish Seniors Open from the European Seniors Tour. An 18 hole, par 72 parkland course measuring 6,946 yards from the white tees that was designed by Michel Ganyon and opened for play in 1997. There are a few hazards throughout the round with seven fresh water lakes, trees lining the fairways and numerous well placed bunkers to protect the fast paced greens.
New golf course is the second 18 hole championship course at Gloria Golf Club. Sharing many of the same terrific features – 4 large lakes that come in to play on many holes, nearly 70 well thought bunkers whilst winding through the pine trees that help to shape the course. An 18 hole, par 72 parkland course that measures 7,134 yards from the white tees. The course was designed by Michael Ganyon in 2005 eat views towards the Taurus mountains.
Verde course is an excellent nine hole addition to the Gloria Resort, you can play nine holes on Verde and another nine from Old or Verde to create a new course during your stay. A 9 hole, par 36 course which measures 3,197 yards from the white tees that opened in 2001. Each hole has two tee positions to be able to play the course twice and make an 18 hole course.
The Robinson Club Nobilis course features old pine trees around the edges of all fairways, accuracy from the tee is a rewarding strategy to score well throughout the round. An 18 hole, par 71 woodland course that measures 6,843 yards from the white tees which was designed by Dave Thomas, opening for play in 1998. Featuring lightning fast greens (bentgrass) and Bermuda grass fairways. A reasonably flat course with some water hazards and tricky bunkers to protect the greens. A course that is suitable for golfers of all abilities.
The Cornelia Faldo course is a 27 hole complex designed by the great Nick Faldo that combines various orders of 9 holes to create three golf courses; the King, Queen and Prince courses. The King course is an 18 holes, par 72 parkland course which measures 6,967 yards from the back championship tees that consists of holes one to eighteen. The Queen course is an 18 hole, par 72 parkland course that measures 7,011 yard from the black tees which is made up of holes ten to twenty seven.
