About the destination

The 4* AP Cabanas Beach & Nature Hotel is situated in front of the Ria Formosa Natural Park, on the outskirts of Cabanas in the Eastern Algarve. The hotel enjoys great links to all of the golf courses in the area. Benamor is only 5 minutes away, Quinta da Ria & Cima are 15 minutes away, Monte Rei is 20 minutes & Castro Marim is 30 minutes away. You can visit the nearby town of Tavira or take the hotel boat ( June to October) to Cabanas beach.

The hotel has 274 rooms consisting of classic, pool view, ria view, premium and premium sea view rooms. The rooms come as bed & breakfast as standard though there is also the option to upgrade to all inclusive. Each room has air conditioning, a TV, Wi-Fi, hair dryer, safe deposit box, tea facilities and a balcony.

There are 3 restaurants & 2 bars at the hotel. The main restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner whilst there is also a fine dining option at the Ria restaurant. The Hotel Grill offers wonderful meat & fish dishes. The rooftop pool bar with views across the lagoon is a great place to view the evening sunset. You can enjoy some evening entertainment at the Cabanas Bar & Lounge.

The hotel has 3 swimming pools, an outdoor pool, heated indoor pool and a rooftop pool. The Spa is a great place to unwind with a sauna, steam bath or Jacuzzi. Guests of the hotel also have complimentary access to the gym next door.

The Golf Course - AP Cabanas Golf Break

Quinta da Cima golf course was designed as the Championship course on the Cima & Ria Resort. Whilst Quinta da Ria may have some more picturesque views with the holes that go out to sea, it is Quinta da Cima that provides a better test of golf. Featuring wide fairways with several lakes and some well placed bunkers waiting to catch any stray golf balls. Also to contend with are several streams running across the course, some of which will be unseen from your playing position. An 18 hole, par 72 course measuring 7,203 yards from the white tees that was designed by Rocky Roquemore and opened in 2002. A great looking golf course that plays through orange groves on the way up to the fast and undulating greens.

Quinta da Ria golf course is a fun to play course set in the Ria Formosa Natural Park that was designed by Rocky Roquemore and opened in 2002. Many of the holes enjoy stunning sea views and have a mountainous backdrop behind. There are five lakes on the course which can present a challenge, many people play the par 4 10th hole as a par 5 and lay up before the water. Once you reach the greens beware of their fast pace and undulating slopes. An 18 hole par 72 course that measure 6,620 yards from the white tees.
