There are larger rooms available for groups who want to stay together with the studio suite which sleeps up to 4 people, loft suite that sleeps up to 8 people, and treehouses that sleep up to twelve people. The Golf Course - Ramside Hall Golf Holidays
The Prince Bishops course takes great advantage of the surrounding countryside offering sweeping views across the landscape and out towards Durham Cathedral. The course was designed by Jonathan Gaunt and opened for play in 1996. The layout which consists of wide fairways, nine doglegs and 16 water hazards all contribute to the temptation of the exciting risk reward shots. Though you can always take advantage of the well crafted lay up areas. An 18 hole, par 72 course that measures 6,851 yards from the championship tees and takes its name from a Warrior Clergyman who ruled these lands from Durham Castle after the Norman Conquest in the 11th Century.
The Cathedral course which was inspired by the nearby UNESCO World Heritage Site also holds stunning views over the Cathedral and countryside. The course opened in 2014 and was designed by Jonathan Gaunt to be built on rolling countryside between two villages to sweep down through a valley with beautiful natural features and mature trees. The high plateau of the middle holes gives a sweeping 360 degree view across the landscape. An 18 hole, par 72 course that measures 7,176 yards from the Championship tees that can see as far as the Angel of the North in Gateshead.
